Day 1 – Windsor Castle Visit & Welcome Gathering

Depart your hotel at 2:00 PM for a visit to Windsor Castle, the King’s residence and the largest inhabited castle in the world. Afterwards, enjoy a guided walking tour of this charming and historic town. In the evening, gather with your group for a welcome drink, followed by independent dining.

Begin the day with a visit to Blenheim Palace, the grand country estate of the Dukes of Marlborough. Then, enjoy a scenic drive through the picturesque Cotswolds, passing charming villages and rolling countryside. Continue on to York, a city founded by the Romans in the first century and later a thriving center of the medieval wool trade.

Explore York on a walking tour of its medieval streets, including the Shambles, one of the city’s narrowest and most atmospheric alleyways. Visit the stunning York Minster, famous for its magnificent medieval stained glass windows. Then, travel north to Bamburgh Castle, a dramatic medieval fortress perched on a rocky plateau with sweeping views of the coastline—one of the largest inhabited castles in Britain. Continue to your hotel near Edinburgh, where you’ll enjoy dinner with your group.

Begin your exploration of central Edinburgh in the 200-year-old “New Town,” known for its elegant Georgian architecture and carefully planned streets. Stroll along Princes Street, the city’s main shopping thoroughfare, and continue to the medieval Royal Mile, dominated by the iconic Edinburgh Castle. Tour the castle and view the Crown Jewels of Scotland. The afternoon is free for independent exploration. In the evening, enjoy a lively Scottish night featuring dinner and traditional entertainment. Guests traveling between August 3–17 will experience the spectacular Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo performed on the Castle Esplanade.

Journey through the lush, rolling landscapes of the Lake District, whose beauty has long inspired poets and writers. Stop in Grasmere, the picturesque village that William Wordsworth once called “the most loveliest spot that man hath found.” Later, arrive in Liverpool, a former hub of global trade now best known as the birthplace of the Beatles. Enjoy a walking tour of the historic docks, then take some free time for dinner. In the evening, meet your group to experience live music at the legendary Cavern Club, where the Fab Four got their start.

Pass through the scenic landscapes of Shropshire, one of rural England’s most unspoiled regions. Stop in Ludlow, a quintessential English town known for its historic castle and charming black-and-white timbered houses. Continue through the beautiful Welsh countryside to explore the picturesque ruins of Tintern Abbey. Upon arrival in Cardiff, tour the splendid Cardiff Castle, magnificently restored during the Victorian era. Enjoy dinner at your hotel.

Begin the day with a panoramic tour of Cardiff, then cross the border from Wales into England. In the elegant city of Bath, visit the ancient Roman Baths—hot, mineral-rich springs that have attracted visitors since Roman times. Continue to Salisbury Plain to explore the mysterious prehistoric stone circle of Stonehenge and discover the primitive techniques used to construct this enduring monument. Arrive in London and enjoy dinner with your group at the hotel.

Enjoy a panoramic tour of central London, passing iconic landmarks such as Piccadilly Circus with its statue of Eros, Nelson’s Column and the lions of Trafalgar Square, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, and the Houses of Parliament. Then step inside the historic Tower of London to explore its ancient fortifications, see the legendary ravens and Beefeaters in their traditional uniforms, and marvel at the priceless Crown Jewels. The rest of the day is free for independent exploration.

Experience London at your own pace with a Hop-On, Hop-Off bus tour, perfect for flexible sightseeing. Select from two routes and explore the city’s iconic attractions—such as Buckingham Palace, St Paul’s Cathedral, Covent Garden, and many others—whenever and however you choose.

Your tour concludes in London today. Safe travels!
