Day 1 – Historic London & the Crown Jewels

Leave your hotel at 2:00 PM for a panoramic London tour, featuring famous sights like Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, and Piccadilly Circus. Visit the Tower of London, a former royal residence and infamous prison, where you’ll see the dazzling Crown Jewels, meet the Beefeaters in traditional Tudor dress, and spot the ravens said to safeguard the Tower. Later, enjoy a welcome drink with your group back at the hotel before an evening free to dine and explore on your own.

Visit the enigmatic Stonehenge, where towering stones dating back over 4,000 years stand as a testament to ancient craftsmanship. Next, journey to the picturesque town of Windsor on the River Thames for a panoramic tour. Explore Windsor Castle, the King’s official residence and Europe’s longest-occupied palace, renowned for its grand architecture, opulent apartments, and extensive art treasures. Return to London and enjoy an evening free to explore at your own pace.

Explore the scenic riverside borough of Greenwich on a panoramic tour, followed by free time to soak in its maritime history. Famous for the Greenwich Meridian—the basis of Greenwich Mean Time—Greenwich is home to the historic Cutty Sark tea clipper, the National Maritime Museum, cozy cafés, and a vibrant market. Afterwards, embark on a relaxing cruise down the River Thames to Westminster, passing landmarks like Canary Wharf, Tower Bridge, and the London Eye. Enjoy the rest of your day at leisure to shop, sightsee, or catch a show.

Take a guided walking tour of Oxford, home to the renowned university founded in the 12th century. Then, journey through the picturesque Cotswolds, passing charming thatched cottages and English gardens on the way to Stratford-upon-Avon. Enjoy some free time for lunch before visiting Shakespeare’s Birthplace, a museum dedicated to the Bard’s early life and 16th-century England. Return to London for an evening at your leisure.

Explore Canterbury Cathedral, a masterpiece of medieval architecture and a site of great religious and literary significance. Then visit Leeds Castle in Kent, famously restored by an Anglo-American heiress into a stunning 20th-century country retreat. Conclude your journey with a farewell dinner back in London.

After breakfast, your tour concludes in London. Depart for the airport or extend your stay to explore more of the city on your own.
