5.0 ⭐     64 customer reviews

Experience the best of Britain on this scenic journey through England and Scotland. See London’s top sights and explore freely with a hop-on, hop-off tour. Visit Windsor Castle or Blenheim Palace, then uncover Roman history in Bath and Shakespeare’s Stratford. Cruise the Lake District before heading north to Edinburgh, where you’ll tour the Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle, and enjoy an evening of whisky and storytelling—or the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo on select dates.

Day 1 – London Icons & Tower Treasures

Your tour begins with a 2:00 PM departure from your hotel for a panoramic drive through central London, taking in iconic sights such as Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, Big Ben, and the Houses of Parliament. Then, step inside the historic Tower of London to view the dazzling Crown Jewels. In the evening, enjoy a welcome drink with your group before choosing your own spot for dinner.

Experience London’s iconic landmarks at your own pace with a flexible Hop-On, Hop-Off bus tour, offering multiple routes to suit your interests. Enjoy a free evening to explore further and dine as you wish.

Today’s itinerary varies depending on your tour’s departure day. Guests on Friday departures will enjoy a panoramic tour of Windsor followed by a visit to the State Apartments of Windsor Castle — the largest inhabited castle in the world and one of the King’s official residences. Sunday departures will visit Blenheim Palace, a grand country estate once home to Winston Churchill and a frequent filming location for popular movies and television series; tour the opulent interior and stroll through its exquisite gardens. Later, travel to the historic city of Bath, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its Roman heritage and graceful Georgian architecture. Visit the remarkably preserved Roman Baths and learn why these hot springs have drawn visitors for millennia.

Journey through the scenic Cotswolds, where rolling countryside and golden-stone villages paint a picture of timeless rural England. Stop to explore one of its traditional market towns before heading to Stratford-upon-Avon. Here, delve into the story of William Shakespeare with a visit to the house where he was born and an engaging exhibition on his life and legacy. Later, continue to Liverpool, where you’ll have the evening free to enjoy the city’s vibrant music scene and choose a spot for dinner at your own pace.

Venture into the picturesque Lake District, a landscape that has long captivated artists and writers like William Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter. Enjoy a scenic cruise on Lake Windermere, taking in views of forested islands and surrounding hills. Afterward, spend some free time exploring a classic Lakeland village. Continue north across the border into Scotland, with a stop in the romantic village of Gretna Green, before arriving at your hotel near Edinburgh for a relaxed, independent evening.

Discover the heart of Edinburgh on a panoramic tour, featuring the elegant Georgian architecture of the 200-year-old New Town and the historic Royal Mile, lined with tightly packed medieval buildings. Visit the iconic Edinburgh Castle to view the Scottish Crown Jewels and take in sweeping views of the city. In the evening, enjoy a memorable night of storytelling, whisky tasting, and dinner at the Scotch Whisky Experience. (For departures between July 27 – August 15, you’ll attend the world-renowned Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo instead, with free time for dinner on your own beforehand.)

Your journey concludes after breakfast in Edinburgh. Bid farewell to your fellow travelers and depart with wonderful memories of your time in the UK.
