Step into a realm of misty lochs, ancient castles, and timeless stories on this captivating 8-day adventure through Scotland’s most iconic landscapes and historic treasures. From Glasgow’s vibrant streets to the wild beauty of the Isle of Skye, and the regal charm of Edinburgh, you’ll uncover the soul of Scotland through rich culture, breathtaking scenery, and warm Highland hospitality. Cruise serene waters, explore legendary battlefields, and savor authentic whisky as you make memories that linger long after the journey ends.

Day 1: Glasgow Unveiled & Kelvingrove Treasures

Your Scottish journey begins in Glasgow with a 2:00 PM departure from your hotel. Set out on a panoramic drive through the city’s grand Victorian architecture, historic cathedral, leafy parks, and iconic River Clyde. Step into the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum to marvel at world-renowned works of art. In the evening, enjoy a welcome drink with your group and your tour leader. Dinner is yours to explore independently in this vibrant city.

Breathe in the crisp Highland air as you cruise across the sparkling waters of Loch Lomond. Later, explore the charming town of Inveraray at your own pace before a guided tour of Inveraray Castle—made famous by Downton Abbey. Travel onward across the dramatic Rannoch Moor and through Glencoe’s unforgettable mountain pass, arriving in Ballachulish beside the tranquil Loch Leven.

Today’s journey winds through the legendary Road to the Isles. Stop at the Glenfinnan Monument, then ferry across to the Isle of Skye. Visit the romantic ruins and flourishing gardens of Armadale Castle. Return to the mainland and follow the shores of the legendary Loch Ness before reaching your Highland retreat.

Stand on the hallowed grounds of Culloden Battlefield, where Scotland’s fate once hung in the balance. After exploring the interactive visitor centre, travel through scenic Highland terrain to a local farm and watch skilled sheepdogs in action. Cross the peaks of the Grampians and arrive at your hotel nestled in the heart of the Highlands.

Step into centuries of history at Blair Castle, where tales of royal visits, Highland clans, and noble armies await. Then, visit the Blair Athol Distillery to uncover the secrets of Scotch whisky, finishing with a satisfying dram. Spend your afternoon wandering the gardens or shops in charming Pitlochry.

Today begins at the storied Glamis Castle—childhood home of the Queen Mother and setting for Shakespeare’s Macbeth. Continue to the iconic coastal town of St Andrews, famed as the “Home of Golf.” Take time to explore the medieval streets and storied greens. In the evening, check into your hotel near Edinburgh and enjoy a lively Scottish evening filled with music, traditional fare, and Highland dancing. (For July 27 – Aug 17 departures: enjoy an evening to explore and dine independently.)

Experience the dual charm of Edinburgh—from the sweeping Georgian avenues of the “New Town” to the cobbled lanes of the historic Royal Mile. Explore Edinburgh Castle, perched high above the city. Spend your afternoon discovering the capital on your own terms. (During Tattoo season: your evening includes the unforgettable Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo.)

Enjoy a final breakfast together before your Scottish story concludes. Slán leat—until we meet again.
